What to Bring

We want you to feel at home at Anchor Bay. Here are some of the things you should plan to bring:
  • Personal hygiene items and toiletries
    • We have welcome kits on-site in case you forget something. Our welcome kits include toothpaste, a tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner and soap.
    • If you are flying, please keep in mind the TSA carry-on rules for gels and liquids. Click here for more information.
  • 7 days’ worth of appropriate apparel for exercise, therapy, relaxation and swimming.
    • Washers and dryers, as well as detergent and dryer sheets are available to all clients.
  • Government issued photo ID
  • Insurance card (if applicable)
  • List of medications you are presently taking and the medications
    • Please be aware any narcotic medications will be disposed of according to state and federal law.
  • Credit/debit card or cash (for incidental expenses)
    • Will be used for any incidental expenses, all items will be kept safe dispensed as needed during treatment
  • Books or magazines
  • Photos
    • Clients commonly bring photos of friends, family, or their pets for motivation during recovery. We encourage our clients to bring any photos they feel bring them joy.

Affording Treatment

If you have health insurance, your treatment may be covered. Please contact one of our recovery specialists and we will help you verify your insurance. Private payment is also an option. We work with clients to find payment solutions that work for their needs.

Insurance Accepted

Anchor Bay Recovery accepts all major insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and many more. Inpatient addiction treatment is covered by most insurance plans.
